Redstone Federal Credit Union proudly celebrated the grand opening of its first branch in Smyrna, Tennessee, on Friday, June 6, located at 2005 Huginn Lane. This new location marks Redstone’s fifth branch in Tennessee, strengthening the ties between the credit union and local community.
Branch Manager Heather Jones expressed her excitement, sharing, “Our goal is to provide financial services while building relationships and supporting local initiatives. Our team is excited to meet our members’ needs.”
Grand opening festivities were filled with energy as local high school cheerleaders, members of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, and community members came together for a warm welcome. The celebration continued later that day with a family fun event, featuring hot dogs, lively balloon art, cotton candy, and carnival games. Attendees were delighted to receive tickets to popular Smyrna events, including the Great Tennessee Air Show and summer activity centers.
Earlier that week, Redstone hosted its second Acts of Brightness, treating more than 100 residents to lunch at the Smyrna Event Center and surprising the staff with $100 gift cards as a thank-you. This followed a previous event where Redstone provided free gas and groceries for dozens of people.
Locals can continue looking for Redstone’s bright blue shirts throughout the summer, symbolizing ongoing surprise efforts like paying for gas, buying groceries, and treating locals to meals at nearby eateries.
As Redstone Federal Credit Union continues to grow, it remains committed to making a positive impact on Smyrna and beyond; one surprise at a time.
